Laban Propst
Laban Propst, is a black belt under Lucas Lepri of Alliance and is one of the most accomplished and decorated jiu jitsu athletes in Tennessee and the South Eastern United States. He is a 4X world champion and has won countless other local and regional tournaments across the US.
Laban is also the only open weight world champion in the state of Tennessee. Along with his competitive achievements, Laban is considered one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructors in the South East. He helped develop some of the top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA fighters in NC before moving to Knoxville. Once he opened Lucas Lepri BJJ Knoxville, it took him only 5 months to build his first world champion.
Laban received his Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has 20+ years of experience working with elite athletes as well as children. His concentration in graduate school was using exercise to increase development across multiple domains in children and he implements many of the techniques he has developed over the years in helping his students learn and become the best Jiu Jitsu practitioners possible.
