Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Knoxville has 3 new Pan American Champions!
Last month Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Knoxville took athletes to Orlando FL for the 2020 Pan American Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships! The Pans are one of the most competitive tournaments in the world for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and often predicts the athletes who will be competitive for the title of World Champion! Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been the most competitive and successful martial arts gym in East TN and the Knoxville area for the past 5 years producing champions across all the major tournaments. This year, despite set backs due the the Covid virus, was no different. The team had a shorter than normal training camp but still brought back 2 gold medals and a silver.
Timmothy Robertson is a 2 stripe white belt under Laban Propst and has been training just over a year. Despite still being new to the sport he tore through his division only loosing in the finals and ultimately bringing back as silver medal in his first major tournament. Tim has a very bright future in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and there is no doubt that a gold medal at a major tournament is in his future!
Terry Bullman and Robby Vann both defending World Champions from 2019 competed in their first Pan American championships and brought back Gold! These two athletes have been training at Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Knoxville Tennessee for several years and are two of the eight world champions that train out of the Knoxville martial arts gym. Both competitors dominated their divisions placing 1st and receiving their purple belts on the podium. They are already ready to make their mark in the purple belt divisions and are training hard for the next World Championships!
Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Knoxville teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Kids and Adults in the Knoxville area. We understand not everyone wants to compete and there is no pressure to do so. We just make sure our students are learning the most technical and effective martial art in the area and help each student reach their goals wether it be to get in shape, become healthy, learn how to concentrate and reach goals, or to become the next champion!
