Lucas Lepri BJJ Knoxville Student Jake Levy Wins GOLD at IBJJF Miami
Lucas Lepri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Knoxville Student, Dr. Jake Levy, competed at the 2021 IBJJF Miami Open last weekend winning the Gold medal in his division against some tough competitors. Jake works hard in the gym and consistently comes to class despite being a professor at The University of Tennessee and running his own practice along with raising a family! His dedication payed off Saturday when he went up against some tough competitors in Miami. Many of the competitors in his division will be at Master Worlds later this year and Jake was eager to test himself against the best in the world! He was able to win all of his matches and bring home the Gold Medal facing some of the other top guys in his division and coming out on top! We are proud of all the hard work Jake has put in and his dedication to training and the team. Also a big thank you to all the students who have helped him get ready for this tournament! Champions are not made alone!
